Service Manager – Young

Lead. Inspire. Reinvigorate.

We’re a locally owned agricultural machinery dealer with 9 branches across NSW and Southern Queensland. With over 65 years’ experience, we’re proud to support our customers with quality Case IH machinery and reliable service. Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we’re committed to providing long-term, stable careers.

We’re looking for a motivated Service Manager to lead our Young workshop, keeping customers’ machinery running reliably while mentoring a skilled team of diesel technicians and apprentices. Whether you’re an experienced Service Manager or a senior technician ready to step up, this is your chance to bring fresh energy and ideas to a workshop with a proud history and a bright future.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, train, and mentor your team to achieve high performance

  • Plan and allocate work to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety

  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent after-sales service

  • Monitor workshop performance, costs, and compliance

  • Drive improvements and bring a fresh, energised approach to the team

What We’re Looking For

You’re a hands-on leader with great attention to detail, and you can demonstrate your skills through real examples:

  • Leadership and people management (or the potential to step into it)

  • Strong technical and diagnostic ability

  • Clear, effective communication and teamwork

  • Excellent organisational skills to keep the workshop running smoothly

  • Computer literacy – email, MS Teams, etc. Experience with Pentana/ERAPower is highly desirable

  • A customer-focused, problem-solving approach

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary tailored to experience

  • Fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, and phone

  • Relocation support if moving to Young

  • Career progression and ongoing training in a growing, people-focused business

We want to hear from candidates who are ready to lead and energise our Young workshop. In your application, please briefly tell us:

  • Why you’re interested in this role and working with Kenway & Clark in Young

  • A time you solved a tricky problem in a workshop or team

  • How you’ve helped a team work better or learn new skills

  • How you would build customer trust and keep them coming back

  • What’s important to you in your next role and where you see yourself in a few years

We’re looking for practical examples and real experience, not just a list of skills.
