Join Our Team as a Trades Assistant!
Kenway & Clark is currently seeking a motivated Trades Assistant to join our busy Service team in Goondiwindi.
This is a hands-on role supporting our Diesel Mechanics with repairs, maintenance, and servicing of agricultural machinery and diesel-powered vehicles. You’ll work in a fast-paced workshop environment where safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are key.

What you'll be doing
- Assisting mechanics with servicing and repair work
- Performing basic tasks like oil changes and fluid checks
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organised
- Preparing tools, transporting parts, and assisting with diagnostics
- Following safety procedures and maintaining accurate records
Who We're Looking For
We want either an experienced TA or someone who's enthusiastic about mechanical work and eager to learn. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a team, you might just be the perfect fit!
- Previous experience in a workshop is a plus, but not essential!
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines or mechanical systems is helpful.
- Great problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on challenges.
- Must be physically fit and ready to handle some manual labour.
- Adherence to safety protocols is a must—your safety is our priority!
- A valid driver’s licence would be beneficial, but not required.
