Kenway & Clark is a locally owned agricultural machinery dealer with 9 branches across NSW and Southern Queensland. With over 65 years’ experience, we support our customers with quality Case IH machinery and reliable aftersales service.
We’re now looking for a high-calibre Service Manager to lead our Moree workshop — our largest and most established branch.
This opportunity has arisen due to an internal transfer, and suits someone ready to step into a well-resourced operation and take it to the next level.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering high-quality service, lifting team capability, and ensuring the workshop runs efficiently, safely, and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Own workshop operations, ensuring decisions, standards, and outcomes are aligned with business and customer expectations
- Actively lead, develop, and hold accountable a large team of technicians and apprentices
- Plan and allocate work to maximise efficiency, quality, and turnaround times
- Actively monitor and improve workshop performance, including efficiency and rework
- Ensure all work is accurately scoped, completed to standard, and invoiced clearly and transparently
- Maintain and enforce high standards of workmanship through consistent quality control
- Actively lead team performance, ensuring standards are met and addressing issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient workshop and yard, making the most of a tight footprint
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Work closely with Parts and Sales to ensure coordinated, efficient operations
- Actively drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and team capability
What We’re Looking For
You know that great service comes down to quality work, clear communication, and getting it right the first time. You take ownership, lead from the front, and are accountable for the performance of a busy workshop.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven ability to lead and manage a large team, setting expectations, and maintaining standards
- Strong operational capability, with the ability to organise workflow and keep a busy workshop running efficiently
- Commercial awareness, including efficiency, job costing, and accurate, transparent invoicing
- A strong focus on quality, with the ability to minimise rework through consistent oversight, training and skill development.
- Confidence to address performance and standards directly and professionally
- Strong technical and diagnostic background in agricultural or heavy machinery
- Ability to manage workshop space and resources effectively
- A practical, customer-focused approach
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Confidence using systems and technology (Pentana/ERAPower highly regarded)
