Diesel Mechanics – NSW/QLD | Great Pay, Service Ute & Training | Kenway & Clark
Be the mechanic farmers rely on – and get rewarded for it.
If you’re a qualified diesel or agricultural mechanic looking for a role with solid pay, independence, and the backing of a long-standing, supportive team — Kenway & Clark has a place for you.
We’re hiring Agricultural Diesel Mechanics across Wee Waa, Walgett, Moree and Goondiwindi, working with the latest Case IH machinery and technology.
About You
You’re a qualified Diesel or Agricultural Mechanic (Cert III or higher) with solid hands-on experience working on modern heavy machinery. You know your way around electronic diagnostic tools (ESTs) and understand how to track down and fix complex faults - not just replace parts.
You take pride in quality workmanship, work well on your own, and value being part of a team that backs each other up. Experience with agricultural or construction machinery will be highly regarded.
At Kenway & Clark, only qualified technicians and supervised apprentices repair and service our customers’ machinery - it’s part of what sets us apart.
Why you’ll love it here
- Strong pay & benefits – 38-hour standard work week, $40–$60/hr (based on location & experience) + overtime, tool allowance, uniforms and PPE supplied.
- Fully maintained service ute – plus independence to get the job done right.
- Career growth – funded Case IH & Case Construction training to keep you sharp and moving forward.
- Stability & respect – part of an established local business that values its people.
- Relocation support – we’ll help with the move and get you settled locally.
What you’ll do
-
Service, diagnose and repair Case IH and Case Construction machinery
-
Carry out pre-delivery checks and prepare machines for handover
-
Work independently in the field and collaborate with your branch team
-
Keep local farms running during the busiest seasons of the year
Why Kenway & Clark?
For over 60 years, we’ve kept regional farming communities moving. We value practical people who take pride in their work and want to build a career, not just clock in.
Our mechanics enjoy autonomy, steady hours, great gear, and the satisfaction of keeping agriculture alive and productive.
Swap traffic for open skies, earn what you’re worth, and be part of a crew that looks after each other.
Please note: This role requires a relevant trade qualification or evidence of a relevant apprenticeship in progress. (Applicants with unrelated mechanical experience, such as automotive or marine only, are unlikely to be suitable for this role.)
