About the role:
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Parts Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you’ll be crucial in ensuring our customers and mechanics have the parts they need for repairs and maintenance, keeping their operations running smoothly.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately identifying required parts using catalogs, databases, and your technical expertise.
- Sourcing parts from our inventory or through suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and timely solutions.
- Processing orders efficiently, from creating purchase orders to verifying part numbers and quantities.
- Offering technical support to customers and internal staff on part specifications, compatibility, and troubleshooting.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and timely delivery.
- Assisting with inventory management, including stocktaking and keeping our showroom well-stocked and organised.
This full-time role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime on a rotating Saturday roster. Once settled in, you’ll also be part of an after-hours call-out roster, typically one week per month. Due to the nature of the role, you’ll need to live within reasonable distance to the dealership to respond promptly to after-hours calls.
About you:
The ideal candidate will bring:

- Experience in parts interpretation or a strong eagerness to learn.
- Exceptional active listening and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach to working with team members.
- A current manual driver’s license is essential, and a forklift license would be an advantage.
